| Favorite Memory: | O D's Retirement party would be number 1, and as I reflect back on memory's I would have to say FM 1A would be the licks I got on the last day of school from Charlie Turner. As I'm sure most of you (guy's) remember Charlie's tradition of selecting one senior (I guess from each PE class) every year on the last day of school to get licks for the entire period. As we came in for the last class I remember thinking I'd hate to be the guy. About that time Charlie said Double AA (his nickname for me)get up here, and for the ENTIRE PERIOD while he addressed the PE class for the last time there I stood bent over holding the pole with pants down getting my behind swatted. But afterwards I always felt honored by getting my butt beat by Charlie. |
| About Me: | Married. Four children. Seven grandchildren. Retired from TXU (as Contract's Manager), and work part-time for local homebuilder (Best Homes). UTA Graduate 1970 (Yes it took awhile - 1 and 1/2 years off for Air Force Reserve Active Duty plus time off for other stuff, and then I realized you had to go to class every once in awhile and actually study and then it wasn't so bad).
